KC’s Best Dispensaries is designed to work with keyboards, screen readers, browser zoom, high-contrast settings and reduced-motion preferences. Our technical target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Browser checks updated October 29, 2026. Keyboard checks covered skip navigation, hours disclosures, map details and form validation. Contact and correction forms move focus to errors or confirmation messages, and their field guidance is linked to the relevant controls. Physical-device, screen-reader and measured 200% zoom acceptance remain in progress. This is not a full accessibility certification.
Mobile menu
Focus moves into the open menu, stays within it while open, returns to the menu button after Escape, and an outside tap closes it without activating the page beneath.
Maps
Every ranked map has a text list of the same five locations. Current-location use is optional, status changes are announced, and directions remain available as ordinary links.
Visual display
Text contrast, zoom-friendly layouts, large touch targets, reduced motion and operating-system contrast modes are supported.
Standards and testing
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA as the technical benchmark. The U.S. Department of Justice identifies WCAG as useful technical guidance and recommends pairing automated checks with manual testing. See ADA.gov’s web-accessibility guidance.
Our testing plan combines automated checks with manual keyboard navigation, focus order and visibility, page structure, labels, link purpose, responsive zoom, color contrast, reduced motion and text alternatives. Completed browser checks do not replace physical-device or assistive-technology testing. Third-party destinations have their own accessibility practices and are outside this site’s control.
