5 Best KC Dispensaries for First-Time Shoppers

The Forest gets first place for answering the questions a new shopper is likely to have before arriving. Its guidance covers what to bring, how ordering works and how different formats fit into the choice.

KCC is worth considering when you want education to be part of the visit. Start with its introductory information, then bring the questions that matter to you rather than feel you need to know all the terminology.

Stairway’s guides and virtual budtender give you room to get familiar with the options at your own pace. We like it for someone who’d rather do a little reading before choosing a first product.

NatureMed’s Marijuana 101 and patient guides help make the menu less intimidating. Use them to narrow the formats you want to ask about, then choose from this store’s available products.

Fresh Karma emphasizes personalized help with product selection. We’d include Midtown for a shopper who prefers a conversation, rather than trying to make the whole first decision from a menu.
